Troy Ray "BUCK" McGee

December 14, 1969 - September 16, 2025

Troy Ray McGee or better known to his family and friends as “BUCK” passed from this life on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at his residence in Wartrace, Tennessee at the age of 55 years.

A native of Shelbyville, Tennessee, he is the son of the late Kenneth McGee. Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his son, Troy Ryan McGee.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Lynchburg Funeral Home in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Burial will follow at Smith’s Chapel Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.

Buck was a big Alabama football fan. He enjoyed Nascar races and chicken fighting. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to play dice and loved his family. Buck was a hard worker and worked many long hours.

His survivors include his mother Lynn (Kim) Oakley, one son, Elijah (Jessica) McGee of Tullahoma, Tennessee, stepmother, Sandra McGee of Lynchburg, Tennessee, five grandchildren, Oakley McGee, Bristenn McGee, Anna Lee McGee, Brittion McGee, and RyAnna McGee.
