Robin Alexander Brown

Robin Alexander Brown, age 70 of Estill Springs, formerly of Murfreesboro, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Highpoint Health in Winchester. Robin was born on August 7, 1955, in Palm Beach County, Florida to Evelyn (Napper) Alexander and the late Dr. Robert Allen Alexander Sr. Robin attended Middle Tennessee State University. She was a former food service instructor at Holloway Vocational High School in Murfreesboro. In her younger years, Robin enjoyed working on needle point and quilting projects, or baking delicious sweets. She was an avid reader of romance novels and selected the names of her children from her favorite book and movie Gone with the Wind. She enjoyed the quality time spent with her husband traveling in their motor home and called home to several of their favorite traveling locations Cape Coral, FL, North Fort Myers, FL, Thibodaux, LA, Murfreesboro, TN, and finally Estill Springs. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Adams and step-son, Josh Brown. Robin is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Bruce Brown; children, Beau (Jackie) Stanley, Bonnie (Mark) Boykin, Zachery (Bonnie) Brown, and Melanie Sisco; granddaughters, Rachel Stanley, Emma Stanley, Jalynn Sisco, Sarah Brown, and Savannah Brown; mother, Evelyn Alexander; brother, Dr. Robert Allen (LaDonna) Alexander Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 12:00pm – 1:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with a celebration of life following at 1:00pm from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
