Robert Andrew (“Bob”) Freibert

Robert Andrew (“Bob”) Freibert, age 63, passed away on July 10, 2025 following a lengthy illness. Born June 19, 1962 in Glen Ellyn, Illinois to David Joseph and Patricia Ann Freibert. Bob graduated from Henry Clay High School in Lexington, Kentucky, and attended Depauw University before graduating from Sewanee, The University of the South. He spent most of his adult life in the Dallas, Texas area working for Verizon Communications, before retiring to “The Mountain” in Sewanee, Tennessee, which he loved. Bob was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his wife, Anna B. Freibert, his mother, Patricia A. Freibert, his sister, Susan F. Campbell (Robert), his brother David J. Freibert, Jr. (Abby Gail), stepson Abram J. Holguin, grandchildren Ava A. Holguin and Luke A. Holguin, and nieces and nephews Robert R. and David W. Campbell, and Andrew J. and Hannah E.
