Rivers Kelleher (AKA Riv) fell asleep in the Lord and entered Heavens Gates on September 12, 2025, just eight days before her 15th birthday.
Rivers was born in West Chester, PA on September 20, 2010, to Avery Kelleher and Lisa Kelleher. The family moved to Tennessee when she was 4 years old. She attended Sewanee and Decherd Elementary, South Middle School and just started her freshman year at Franklin County High School. She loved shopping, animals and spending time at the lake.
She was predeceased by her grandfathers, Francis Kelleher and William Wilson and her older sister Taylor Kelleher. She is survived by her parents Avery & Lisa Kelleher, her siblings, Tyler, Ellie, Luke and Eli, her niece Maddie Kelleher, her grandparents, Roger & Daisy McCarter, Susie Kelleher and Debbie Durso, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins and numerous friends who we always consider family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, 300 First Avenue NW, Winchester, TN. Visitation 2:00pm - 4:00pm with a Celebration Service at 4pm. A reception will be held directly after the service at the Franklin County High School auditorium. All who loved her are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a newly formed “We Live for Riv” Ministry that her parents and church family have begun in her loving memory that will minister to all youth suffering from depression, anxiety and any other worldly issues that our youth are silently enduring, with hopes of helping to bring them to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and His saving grace. Donations of any kind can be sent to Abundant Life Church, 3310 Cowan Highway, Winchester, TN 37398, with “We Live for Riv” written in the memo.
