Phillip Lloyd Adcock of Huntsville, Alabama passed from this life on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, Alabama at the age of 72 years.
A native of Alabama, he is the son of the late Luther Austin and Lillian Estelle Schmidt Adcock. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Teresa Adcock, second wife, Jackie Harwell, brothers, Thomas and Joseph Adcock, sister, Geraldine Adcock, sister-in-law, Doris Adcock, and brother-in-law, Wendell Stinnett.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Lynchburg Funeral Home in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Per his wishes, he will be cremated following the services.
Phillip loved music and it was a big part of his life. He was a great guitarist and harmony singer. He was a member of the Mersey Band and the Hot Rod Otis Band. He loved animals and considered himself an animal whisperer. Phillip enjoyed woodworking and passionately loved BAMA football. His love of life and his undeniable talent will be forever missed.
His survivors include his children, Heaven Hall of Michigan, Paula Adcock of South Alabama, sisters, Janet Roof of Moulton, Alabama, Rebecca Stinnett of Flintville, Tennessee, sister-in-law, Alice Adcock of Huntsville, Alabama, two grandchildren, Abigail (Jacob) Aaron, and Mason Hall. Phillip was also survived by several nieces and nephews and one very special nephew who was always a great help to him, Nathan Owens.
