Patricia Ann Underwood Obituary

Patricia Ann Underwood, age 77 of Cowan, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chattanooga on August 31, 1947, to the late Gladys (Condra) Miller. An artist at heart, Patricia Ann enjoyed painting and crafting. A member of the Franklin County Art Guild, she shared her talent for watercolor painting by teaching many students. She had served as a volunteer fireman for ten years at the Kachina Village in Flagstaff, Arizona and was a member of UDAC. She enjoyed traveling, her favorite destination being Hawaii. A wonderful lady, with a kind and sweet nature was a friend to many and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. She was a dedicated member of St. Agnes Episcopal Church in Cowan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Piper. Patricia Ann is survived by her loving son, Jeremie (Michelle) Underwood; grandchildren, Virginia Mae Piper, Whitney (Kyle) Spence, and Peyton McLaughlin; great-grandchildren, Ramzi McLaughlin, and Davina McLaughlin; brother, John William Miller; and several nieces, cousins, and extended family members. A memorial gathering will be held from 3-6pm on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
