Patricia Ann Parsons

Patricia Ann Parsons, age 86 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Franklin Manor. She was born on September 10, 1938, to the late Hurdie Chester and Edith Marie (Feiss) Parsons in Welch, West Virginia. After spending her childhood in Welch, the family moved to Windham, Ohio. After graduation, she attended Ravenna Ohio Business College. Patricia started her professional career with the State of Ohio Soil Conservation Department, where she worked for ten years. She worked for the next thirty years at Kent State University in admitting. After retiring, Patricia moved to Estill Springs. She was a member of the Estill Springs Methodist Church for thirty-four years and had served as the secretary and treasurer. She also was a member of the Eastern Star and had served as worthy matron. Patricia is survived by her brother, Fred L. (Margaret Goldsborough) Parsons; and niece, Rebecca Parsons. Visitation will be from 10-11am on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am with Bro. Joe Rutherford officiating. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
