Nellie Ruth Spry

Nellie Ruth Spry of Manchester, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, October 2, 2025, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 60 years.

A native of Coffee County, she is the daughter of the late Aubrey Lee and Minnie Jewel Cornelison Spry. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Aubrey Lee Spry Jr., and two sisters, Verna Dee Spry and Tammy Sue Lester.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma, Tennessee with Tim Parsons officiating. Burial will follow at Ragsdale Cemetery in Manchester. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of service.

Nellie was a funny and energetic person. She loved life and would get excited over the smallest things. She was just like a child at Christmas when exciting things happened to her or her family. Nellie had the biggest heart and loved her family tremendously. She will be forever missed by her family and friends.

Her survivors include her children, JR (Ashley) Arp of Estill Springs, Tennessee, Cory Spry of Manchester, Tennessee, Heather McCollough of Beech Grove, Tennessee, Tracy Edwards of Manchester, Tennessee and Jessee Nicole (Jason) Meadows of Manchester, Tennessee, eleven grandchildren, Jacob, Morgan, Nathan, Brooklyn, Kamryn, Makenzie, Keegan, Andrew, Bentley, Alexis and Alison. She is also survived by two great grandchildren. Anakin and Kaysen.
