Johnnie Mae Dixon, age 89 of Winchester, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Johnnie was born on December 31, 1935, in Winchester, to the late John Kelly and Lena Mae (Stewart) Williams. Johnnie enjoyed cooking wonderful meals, baking delicious, sweet treats. She loved being on the go by shopping and hunting for arrowheads. She will be remembered by her family and friends as having a witty personality and touching the lives of those who knew her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Dixon; son, Jimmy Holt; grandson, Chad Zimmerman; and sister, Anna Ruth Farris. She is survived by her daughter, Wanda (JW) Finney; brother, Charles (Shirley) Williams; her pride and joys, grandchildren, Greg (Michelle) Zimmerman, Nicole Holt Lewis, Kelley Holt and Teresa (Garry) Crownover; great-grandchildren, Malari (Bryce) Wilbourn, Maleia (Timmy) Matthews, Malayna (Derrick) Zimmerman, Marlee Zimmerman, Adrian Holt, Maria Holt, Adriana Holt, Wayne Axel Holt, Dalton Gilliam, and Chase Gilliam; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 3:00pm from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Justin Hill, officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens with Bryce Wilbourn, Timmy Matthews, Derrick Cash, Tyler Guess, Dalton Gilliam and Chase Gilliam all serving as pallbearers.
