Joan Elizabeth Penn

Joan Elizabeth (Fallert) Penn of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Vanderbilt Harton Hospital in Tullahoma. Tennessee at the age of 75 years.

A native of Oxford, Nebraska, she is the daughter of the late Owen and Elfrieda Missing Fallert. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wayne Penn, and two brother in laws, Tom Magorian and Howard Rix.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Wesley Heights Methodist Church located at 2101 East Lincoln Street in Tullahoma. Friends may visit on Saturday at the church from 1:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Joan’s name to The Wesley Heights Methodist Church or to the Tullahoma Animal Shelter by contacting (931) 454-9580.

Joan was a high school graduate and worked as the Cafeteria Manager in the Tullahoma City School System.

Her survivors include her children, Christopher (Deborah) Penn of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Tonya (James) Owens of Estil Springs, Tennessee, sisters, Joyce Magorian of Richmond, Virginia, Janice Rix of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Judy (Troy) Carter of Winchester, Tennessee and one grandchild, Shaun Owens.
