Jewell Christine Limbaugh, age 91, of Winchester, Tennessee passed away on August 16, 2025, at Vanderbilt Tullahoma Harton Hospital. She was born on July 12, 1934, in Moore County, Tennessee, to the late Ben and Barsha (Walker) McCormick. Jewell dedicated over 50 years of her life to her passion for hairstyling, touching the lives of countless clients with her skill, kindness, and warm spirit. A devout woman of faith, she found strength and comfort in reading her Bible and was a proud member of Huntland Missionary Baptist Church. She was a talented baker, Jewell enjoyed sharing her delicious creations with family, friends, and anyone in need. Her nurturing nature and willingness to help others defined her life, she was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer words of encouragement. Her gentle spirit, compassion, and unwavering faith made her a treasured presence in the lives of those around her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Clayton Limbaugh; son, Michael Limbaugh; brothers, Junior McCormick, Roy McCormick, James McCormick, and Wilburn McCormick; sisters, Evelyn Newton, Mary McNeal, and Nell Syler. She is survived her daughter, Patricia (Bob) Hobbs; daughter-in-law, Tina Limbaugh; grandchildren, Lacey (Chris) Ray, Ashley (Matthew) Fitch, Rebekah Hobbs (Kyle Morgan), Alicia (Chris) Fanning, and Alison Limbaugh (Cody Bradford); great grandchildren, Eli Fitch, Addison Fitch, Amelia Fitch, Jentri Fanning, Huck Fanning, Bransyn Limbaugh, Jackson Ray, and Carter Ray; sisters, Jean Hall and Betty Nichols; sister-in-law, Janet McCormick. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Shockley officiating.
