Jessie Thomas White

August 15, 1960 - September 4, 2025

Mr. Jessie Thomas White, age 65, of Tullahoma, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Vanderbilt Tullahoma – Harton Hospital. He was born on August 15, 1960, in Tullahoma, Tennessee, to the late Ervin and Myrtle White.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Edith Marie Hamilton, and two brothers, William White and Michael White.

Thomas was a proud graduate of Tullahoma High School, where he excelled in both track and football. His speed and determination on the field earned him the nickname “Night Train.” Following high school, he continued his education at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU).

He is survived by his brother, Ralph (Tina) White and sister, Thelma Southerland. He also leaves behind special nieces and nephews: Natisha White, Dominic White, Tavarus Taylor, and Brandon White; along with a host of other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at J.A. Welton & Son Funeral Home.
