Donald Wayne Holland, age 90 of Decherd, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Bailey Manor. A native of Franklin County, he was born on August 19, 1935, to the late Clay M. and Elsie L. (Rieben) Holland. A patriot, Donald served in the Tennessee National Guard. Before his retirement, he was employed as an Instrument Technician at AEDC for over thirty years. He loved being in the great outdoors working in the garden and farming when he was able. An avid sports fan, he cheered for the Dallas Cowboys, as well as NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon. A loving father, Donald, cherished the time spent with his beloved family. His kind and loving nature will be remembered by all. He was a devoted member of Oaklawn Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Holland; and brother, Clay Holland. He is survived by his loving children, Donna (Milton) Scott, Janet (Ron) Cunningham, and Lisa (Andy) Donnelly; grandchildren, Rachel (Danny) Pendergrass, Nick (Amy) Cunningham, Julie (Will) Pack, Alaina (Michael) Fisher, Brittany Bean (Rob Hinnenthal), and Courtney Donnelly; and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 am on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow at 12:00 noon at Franklin Memorial Gardens with Bro.
