Donald "Donnie" Ray Painter

June 25, 1952 - September 5, 2025

Donald Ray Painter of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, September 5, 2025, at his residence at the age of 73 years.

A native of Coffee County, he is the son of the late J.C. and Enzalee Branch Painter.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma. Burial will follow at Turkey Creek Methodist Church Cemetery in Tullahoma. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.

Donnie was a very giving and kind person. Always ready and willing to help those who needed him. He worked for the city of Tullahoma for approximately 44 years and was also the owner of Painters Salvage. Donnie hauled a lot of hay for a lot of people. He was an animal lover and was always taking care of them. He loved his family and will be truly missed.

His survivors include his wife of 32 years, Brenda Painter, son, Jason (Cynthia) Painter, daughters, Pamela (Shaun) Warren, Tammy Whisnant, stepdaughter, Tabitha (Michael) Burton, brothers, J.C. “BO” Painter Jr., Jerry Painter, Mickey Painter, sisters, Louise (Richard) Stiles, Cathy (Anthony) Hatfield, Aunt, Jean Branch, 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
