Debra D. Eslick

Debra D. Eslick, age 65 of Cowan, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Highpoint Medical Center in Winchester. She was born on December 12, 1959, to the late James Clayborne and Emma Sue (Golden) Hodge. Before her retirement, Debra worked as a caregiver in the healthcare industry. An animal lover, she enjoyed spending time with her dogs. But most of all, she cherished the time spent with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A devoted Christian, she was a member of Cowan First Baptist Church. Debra is survived by her loving husband of over forty-six years, JD Eslick; children, John (Amanda) Eslick and Heather Hannah; grandchildren, Dylan Hannah, Nikki Simmons, Kaison Hannah, Aaron Key, and Devon Key; great-grandchildren, Calvin Hannah and Colter Hannah; and siblings, Bobby Hodge, Linda Reese, Patricia Bolin, Mary Painter, and Judy Bolin. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Cowan First Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Cowan First Baptist Church with Bro. LZ Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
