Bobbie Joe Landers, Sr.

Bobbie Joe Landers, age 82, of Winchester, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Elk River Health & Nursing Center. He was born in Franklin County, Tennessee, on January 22, 1943, to the late Temple Presley. Bobbie was a beloved jokester and avid fisherman. He cherished his time on the water and his faithful dog Spot. His warm sense of humor and playful spirit touched everyone he knew. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Landers; two children, Kristie Landers and Tommy Joe Landers. He is survived by his son, Bobbie Joe Landers, Jr.; granddaughter, Tiffany Landers; cousin and caregivers, Linda (Howard) Elliott; several other cousins and extended family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Watson Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Funeral services will follow in the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson Funeral Home at 3:00 PM. Interment to immediately follow in Owens Chapel Cemetery. The family would like to thank Elk River Health & Nursing Center for the wonderful care that they provided to Mr. Landers.
