Mrs. Bobbie Jean Morrow was born on December 21, 1941, in Cowan, Tennessee, to the late Jinks Sr. and Guessie (Moon) Hartsfield.
A devoted member of the Jehovah’s Witness faith for over fifty years, Bobbie lived a life rooted in compassion, humility, and unwavering belief. She was known for her kindness and her willingness to help anyone in need, always extending grace to those around her.
Bobbie met the love of her life, Howard Morrow, Sr., at Townsend High School. They were sweethearts from the start and were married on February 27, 1960, in Winchester, Tennessee. Together they built a life centered on faith and family, raising six children and creating a home filled with love, laughter, and devotion.
She carried a spirited elegance into every aspect of her life. No matter the occasion or weather, she stepped out the door impeccably styled and effortlessly composed. Her signature red lipstick, worn faithfully for her husband, was more than a beauty staple — it was a quiet testament to devotion. She had a gift for elegance and generously shared it, offering beauty tips and encouragement to those who admired her. Her presence was both inspiring and reassuring, a reminder that self-care could be an act of love. Bobbie loved to dance, and her joy was infectious. Her kitchen was her haven, where she cooked with heart and baked with love. Her pies and cakes were cherished by many, especially those she lovingly delivered to the sick and shut-in as a gesture of care and comfort.
Her heart extended far beyond her own family. Bobbie was a caretaker to many, especially the elderly, offering her time, compassion, and gentle hands to those in need. She was also a trusted confidant, someone people turned to for wise counsel and heartfelt advice. Her ability to listen without judgment and speak with sincerity made her a pillar of strength in her community.
Later in life, Bobbie worked as a cashier at Walmart, where she was known for her warm smile and friendly demeanor. After many years of dedicated service, she retired, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and connection with everyone she encountered.
In her final years, Bobbie was lovingly cared for by her children, who remained devoted to her comfort and well-being. A special thank you to Howard Morrow Jr., whose unwavering dedication went above and beyond. Their care was a reflection of the deep bond she nurtured throughout her life—a testament to the love she gave and received. Heartfelt appreciation is also extended to her nieces, Little Evelyn and Cookie, and to the entire Hartsfield family for their love, support, and presence throughout her journey.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard Morrow Sr.; siblings Pauline Haynes, Alma Hartsfield, Enda Williams, Evelyn Lovelace, Helen Mathis, Jinks Hartsfield Jr., Wilbur Hartsfield, Ruben Hartsfield, James Ira Hartsfield, John Morrow Jr., William Morrow, Roberta Brown, Irene Simmons, Estelle Qualls, Wilma Johnson; niece Paulette Burks; and brother-in-law Phillip Moss Jr. and Bill Qualls.
