Bettye Reynolds

November 6, 1934  -  November 7, 2025

Bettye Reynolds, age 91 of Belvidere, passed away Friday, November 7, 2025. Bettye was born as the second blessing to the late Frank & Marie Warmbrod in 1934. She is preceded in her passing by her husband and love of her life, Marvin B. Reynolds, with whom she spent 47 years. She leaves behind her sister, Eleanor Satterfield of Hartsville and brother, Donald Warmbrod of Memphis, as well as a litany of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews, cousins and other family, as well as her trusty four-legged companion, Susie.

Bettye attended Franklin County High School and then went on to dedicate forty years of her life to Cumberland Motor Parts, as well as countless selfless hours to the First United Church, United Church of Christ. An avid gardener and animal lover, Bettye also enjoyed various methods of needlework and hand bells that she would generously gift to family. And anyone in the county will also tell you that her special mashed potatoes, a staple regularly requested at all gatherings, were unmatched.

Visitation for the family will be held at 11:00 am with open visitation at 12-2:00pm Monday, November 10, 2025 at Moore Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Debbie Douglas officiating. Interment at Belvidere Cemetery.
