Betty A. Wilkerson

Betty A. Wilkerson, age 78 of Belvidere, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 21, 1946, in Natchitoches, Louisiana to the late Herman Boswell and Nata O. Cloud. A dedicated homemaker, Betty cherished the time spent with her beloved family. She was a simple woman and a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Betty was a member of Paynes Baptist Church. In addition to her father, Herman Boswell, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. Wilkerson; and son, Eric T. Wilkerson. Betty is survived by her mother, Nata O. Cloud of Pineville, Louisiana; daughter, Rebekah (Derrick) Swann of Decherd; grandchildren, Candice Autwell of Lynnville, Abby (Sam) Williams of Winchester, Walton Levi Wilkerson of Lynnville, Juliann Swann, Jake Swann, both of Decherd, and Chloe Wilkerson of Winchester; great-grandchildren, Kylie Autwell, Osias Williams, Azriel Williams, and Amara Williams; sisters, Sheila (Gerald) Nichols of Pineville, Louisiana, Jane (Dan) Voorhies of Ruby, Louisiana; brother, John (Melissa) Roberts of Branson, Missouri; and special friends, Linda Swann and Brenda Hall. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home at 1:00 pm with Bro.
