Franklin County Gears Up for a Week of Halloween Fun!

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Tenn. — Halloween spirit is alive across Franklin County this year with a full lineup of spook-tacular community events for families, thrill-seekers, and everyone in between!

The frightful fun kicks off October 24th and 25th at Tims Ford State Park’s Haunted Island, where brave souls can take on Devil’s Step Island from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $20 for ages 16 and up and $15 for kids 15 and under.

Also on October 25th, families can enjoy several community celebrations:

  • The Winchester Boo Bash at City Park’s Red Roof Pavilion runs from 4 to 8 p.m. with games, music, and candy, hosted by the Franklin County Prevention Coalition.

  • VFW Post 1893 on Woods Reservoir in Estill Springs will host a Trick or Treat event from 2 to 6 p.m., featuring crafts, pumpkin decorating, and a bounce house.

  • Bennett’s Pharmacy invites families to a Halloween Party at 1201 Dinah Shore Blvd. from 3 to 6 p.m., complete with costume contests and treats.

            On October 30th, the City of Decherd presents its annual Boo at the Park Trunk or Treat at Hank Weddington Park starting at dusk, and Congressman Scott DesJarlais’ Bonfire Night will light up Estill Springs at 5:30 p.m.

Halloween night, October 31st, offers even more treats:

  • Truck or Treat at the Winchester Farmers Market Pavilion from 5 to 8 p.m.

  • Estill Springs Spook-tacular Bash at Estill Springs City Park, also from 5 to 8 p.m.

  • Viva Senior Living at Franklin Manor hosts Trick or Treat from 4 to 7 p.m. on Cowan Highway.
