The Franklin County Education Foundation for Excellence recently hosted its annual GameChanger Fundraiser, and what a night it was! Over 200 attendees came together to raise nearly $20,000 to support teachers and students across Franklin County.

The evening’s keynote speaker, Monty Burks with the Governor’s Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, delivered an inspiring message about the power of believing in others. He shared how adults who had faith in him and took a chance on his potential made a lasting difference in his life, reminding everyone that encouragement and opportunity can truly change a person’s path.

Together, they are investing in today’s youth, tomorrow’s leaders, and the future of Franklin County. The Franklin County Education Foundation is an all-volunteer nonprofit made up of local community members who are passionate about giving back. With schools working hard to do more with less, they step in to fill the gap, funding classroom projects, STEM tools, and innovative learning experiences that make a lasting impact.
