Coffee County Sheriff Chad Partin stated that his department, under the direction of District Attorney General Craig Northcott, will be present on the Bonnaroo grounds during the festival in June.
For the most part, since Partin took office, the county has stepped away from heavy enforcement following the annexation of the property by the City of Manchester. The city department now does most of the enforcement along with Bonnaroo security.
“Northcott has some concerns about enforcement, so we’re going back to old-school Bonnaroo,” Partin said.
He said the festival does not pay the department, but they will be there for enforcement.
Partin said no undercover stuff will be done because it’s pointless.
