Charles Henry Drummond

Charles Henry Drummond of Tullahoma Tennessee passed from this life on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at his residence. A native of Newport, Arkansas, he was born on November 10, 1944, he is the son of the late R.A. and Ruby Drummond of Celina, Tennessee.


Charles retired from Sverdrup-Jacobs at AEDC. He loved fishing, gardening, and collecting old coins and knives. He enjoyed farming and riding his John Deere tractor. Charles loved his family dearly and enjoyed when he had family gatherings. He loved living in Tennessee, but deep down in his heart he was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcats fan. He spent most his days with his fury sidekicks, Boo Boo, Rambo and Smokey.


Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Dewayne Drummond of Scottsville, Kentucky, brothers, Jack (Sherry) Drummond of Noblesville, Indiana, Jerry Drummond of Celina, Tennessee, Bill (Ellen) Drummond of Elwood, Indiana, sisters, Wilma Garmon of Simi Valley, California, Mary Drummond of Tipton, Indiana, and Sharon Locke of Indian Rocks Beach, Florida. Linda Sutton, Celina, Tennessee and Brother-in-Law, Bobby West, Scottsville, Kentucky.


He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Betty Jo Dean Drummond of Tullahoma, Tennessee, son, Charles Warren Drummond of Scottsville, Kentucky, daughters, Rebecca Thomas of Tullahoma, Tennessee and Beth (Tony) Walls of Decherd, Tennessee, grandchildren Jacob Drummond of Scottsville, Kentucky, Henry Maxwell Drummond of Scottsville, Kentucky, Rhealee (Lee) Hutchinson of Whites Creek, Tennessee, Frazier (Stephanie) Thomas of Decherd, Tennessee, Brooke (Alex) Bobo of Manchester, Tennessee, Mia Thomas of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Hope Thomas of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Loren (Dustin) Jones of Decherd, Tennessee, Jordan (Aleigha) Walls of Decherd, Tennessee, 9 great grandchildren, brother, Bob Drummond of Westmoreland, Tennessee, sisters, Maggie (Richard) Upton of Celina, Tennessee, Nancy West of Scottsville, Kentucky and sister in law, Julia Drummond of Florida.


A Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at “The Atlantic” venue located at 205 NW Atlantic Street in Tullahoma, Tennessee from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
