THE HONORABLE COURNTEY LYNCH ELECTED TO LEAD TENNESSEE DISTRICT ATTORNEYS

12th District Attorney General to join Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference Executive Committee


BLEDSOE, FRANKLIN, GRUNDY, MARION, RHEA and SEQUATCHIE COUNTIES, Tenn. (June 16, 2025) - Courtney Lynch, 12th District Attorney General, has been elected by fellow members of the Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference (TNDAGC) to serve on the organization's Executive Committee. In this position, Gen. Lynch will play a crucial role in guiding the overall administration of justice in Tennessee.


"It is a privilege to serve on the Executive Committee and to work among such dedicated colleagues," stated General Lynch.


"The Executive Committee is at the heart of every decision we make in our work to improve public safety and provide for a more prompt and efficient administration of justice throughout this great state," explained TNDAGC Executive Director, Stephen Crump. "I'm confident Gen. Lynch will uphold this responsibility admirably."


Lynch took office in 2022 as the 12th District Attorney General. She also proudly served the people of the 12th district both through her work in private practice and for ten years as an Assistant District Attorney. Lynch currently serves as Chair of the TNDAGC Legislative Committee and serves on the Child Support Committee.


The Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference was created by the General Assembly in 1961 to provide for a more prompt and efficient administration of justice in the courts of the state. It is composed of the elected District Attorneys General from the state's 32 judicial districts. www.tndagc.org
