TANYA ANNETTE PLATTENBURG

TANYA ANNETTE COLLINS PLATTENBURG, age 56, of Manchester, Tenn., formerly of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, in Manchester.  She was born in Joliet, Ill., to Margaret "Margo" Annette Kingan Collins and the late Clifford Ray Collins on March 8, 1969.  She was a 1986 graduate of Franklin County High School.  She played softball and basketball for the Rebels in High School and enjoyed all sports.  She was an avid Nascar fan, U.T. Vols football and TN Titans fan.  Ms. Plattenburg was employed for several years as a machine operator for the former CKR in Winchester and as cashier for Walmart in Winchester, her last place of employment was as a hotel manager in Manchester.   

She is survived by her mother, Margo Collins of Estill Springs, brother, Scotty Collins also of Estill Springs, nephew Jacob Collins of Huntsville, Ala., and a good friend, Lori Wilkerson of Estill Springs, Tenn.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made by contacting Grant Funeral Services, LLC, 931-649-3585. 

It was Ms. Plattenburg's wish that she be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
