Sherry Ellen Jones, age 62 of Huntland, was born on April 29, 1963, to the late Jo Ellen Jones and Parker Jones of Huntland. She departed this world on May 18, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. After graduating Huntland High School in 1982, she resided with her parents in Huntland. Sherry enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her beloved family. Anything her nieces and nephews were involved in, whether it was playing sports or participating in beauty pageants, Sherry was there. In addition to her mother, Jo Ellen Jones, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Olice and Mary Wise, and Bessie and Leslie Jones. Sherry is survived by her father, Parker Jones; sisters, Tina Finney of Huntland, Jodie Jones of Huntland, and Stacy (Coby) Edwards of Elora; brother, Jason (Kim) Jones of Huntland; nieces, Whitney (Quinton) Crockett, Jessica (James) Riley, Kayla Miller, Dakota Miller, Leah Jones, Madison Edwards, and Chezleigh Lappin; nephews, Marvin (Brittney) Jones, Chris Brashier, Chayse Davis, and Cameron Lappin; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews and one on the way. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
