Mary Ruth Gaona of Tullahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Ascension Saint Thomas in Murfreesboro, Tennessee at the age of 69 years.

A native of Winchester, Tennessee, she was born on December 8,1955 to the late Arthur and Lenora Trussel Stephens. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gonzalo Gaona, a brother Larry Stephens and infant Stephens, a sister Aubrey Morris, and

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 2:00pm from the Chapel at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma, TN. Visitation with the Family will be held Tuesday at the funeral home from 12:00pm until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro, Tennessee.

Mary was a giving, kind and big-hearted person. She would always help anyone that was in need. She loved spending time with her family and her grandkids; she was also avid member at 1st Church of Jesus Christ in Tullahoma.

Her survivors include her son Robert (Traci) Stephens of Tullahoma, TN, her brother Robert Glenn Stephens of Tullahoma, TN, her sisters Shelia Stephens of Winchester, Tn and Nellie Gragg of Ohio, four grandchildren Michael, Heather, Sara, Kaylee Lenoria Stephens, and 7 great grandchildren Ava, Jonah, Conner, Jackson, Atticus Grayson, and Nova.
