Loulie Frazier Signs Letter of Intent to Swim for Hanover College

Sewanee, TN — 5-9-25 — St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School is proud to announce that senior Loulie Frazier has signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Hanover College, where she will join the Panthers’ swim team.

Loulie began her swim journey at just four years old with the Sewanee Tigersharks and has spent over a decade developing into a determined and resilient athlete. She was a founding member of the Mountain Athletic Club and also competed with the Huntsville Swim Association and the Winchester Swim Team, gaining valuable experience across multiple programs.

For seven years, Loulie has been a cornerstone of the SAS swim team, known for her commitment, perseverance, and leadership. Her journey hasn’t been without challenges — she battled through injury and underwent knee surgery — yet she remained steadfast in her training and support of her teammates. Her unwavering dedication and positive spirit have left a lasting impact on the SAS community.

“Loulie’s determination in and out of the pool is truly inspiring,” said Marion Knoll, head coach of the SAS swim team. “Her work ethic, resilience, and the kindness she shows to others make her an incredible teammate and competitor. Hanover College is gaining not only a talented swimmer, but a remarkable person.”

Surrounded by family, teammates, coaches, and friends, Loulie signed her letter of intent during a ceremony at St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School. She plans to bring the same heart and focus to Hanover College that have defined her swim career to date.
