In Loving Memory of Linda (Brown) Garner

December 23, 1945 – June 17, 2025

Linda (Brown) Garner, born in Tullahoma, TN at Queen City Infirmary, was a force of nature—hard-loving, hard-working, and fiercely devoted to her family. Stubborn as a mule in the best way, she poured that determination into raising her two boys while working tirelessly, often pulling long hours on the night shift while still making time to love and support those who mattered most.

Family was Linda’s foundation, her greatest joy, and purpose. She sacrificed without hesitation, always placing the needs of her loved ones above her own. Whether it was staying up late to help with homework, working extra shifts to provide, or simply being the steadfast presence in moments of uncertainty, she embodied unwavering love and commitment. Her heart was a haven of unconditional acceptance—she loved without judgment, embracing those around her with kindness, compassion, and an understanding that made everyone feel valued. She found immense pride in her sons, grandchildren, great-granddaughters, and brothers, celebrating every achievement, comforting them through every hardship, and cherishing the simple moments that made life meaningful.

Linda was passionate about Native American history, admired the grace and power of the majestic American bald eagle, and cheered with unwavering loyalty for the Tennessee Volunteers. Her love knew no bounds, extending not just to her family but also to her cherished fur baby, Puppy. Her faith carried her through life’s challenges, and now it carries her into heaven, where she is embraced in eternal peace.

She was preceded in death by her treasured mother and best friend, Evelyn Rackler, whose love she held dear and carried in her heart always.

She is survived by her beloved sons, Terry Garner and TJ Garner, his fiancé Angela Haston; her grandchildren, Justin Garner, his fiancé Katie Strain, and Peyton Garner; her two great-granddaughters, Lilly and Luna Garner; and her two brothers, Norman (Eddie) Brown and Donnie Rackler, along with Donnie’s wife, Cathy.

Linda's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her, a testament to her strength, devotion, and unwavering spirit. She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by the love she cultivated throughout her life. May her memory be cherished always.
