WINCHESTER, TN - The Knights of Columbus, Father Hugh Swift Council 3431, recently donated a total of $2,200 to two Franklin County organizations that provide vital assistance to individuals and families in need. The donations were made possible through proceeds raised during a spaghetti dinner hosted by the Knights.

Each organization received $1,100. One donation was presented to Good Samaritan Ministries of Franklin County, with Grand Knight Dave Ryan presenting the check to volunteer Maureen Graviss. Good Samaritan Ministries is located at 1725 Decherd Blvd. in Decherd and is supported by approximately three dozen area churches, civic organizations, charitable foundations, and individual benefactors.
Good Samaritan Ministries serves as a critical safety net for residents facing hardship, offering emergency food assistance, clothing, baby supplies, utility support, and other essential services to neighbors in need throughout Franklin County. The organization relies heavily on community support and partnerships to continue its mission of helping local families during times of crisis.

The second $1,100 donation was presented to the Life Choices Pregnancy & Family Resource Center, with Ryan presenting the check to Amy Haring. Life Choices operates three locations in Winchester, Manchester, and Coalmont and provides a wide range of services to individuals and families across the region.
Life Choices Pregnancy & Family Resource Center offers pregnancy testing, ultrasound services, low-cost diapers, formula, and baby clothing. In addition, the organization provides parenting education through its “Earn While You Learn” program, as well as support through its Baby Boutique, which is designed to assist parents navigating pregnancy, newborn care, toddler development, and ongoing parenting challenges.
Knights of Columbus Council 3431 continues to support charitable efforts throughout the community, with fundraising events like the recent spaghetti dinner directly benefiting organizations that serve Franklin County residents.
