Josie Paulette Polk McMahon of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, June 13, 2025, at her residence in Tullahoma at the age of 74 years.

A native of Nashville, Tennessee, she is the daughter of the late Richard and Mary Della Morgan Polk. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry McMahon in 1979, son, Larry William McMahon, brother, Richard Polk and half-sister, Judith Burger.

The family has chosen cremation, and no services are being planned.

Josie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandbabies. She loved God and was ready to go meet him. She was excited to know that she would be welcomed by her family members who were waiting for her there.

When she was younger, she loved to dance. She enjoyed fishing and especially loved the beach. Josie enjoyed knitting and always made blankets for her grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Murphy of Tullahoma, Tennessee, eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
