The Franklin County Rebelettes couldn’t keep pace with the Tullahoma Wildcats, falling 15-0 on Thursday at Franklin County High School, surrendering the season sweep to Tullahoma after a dominant performance from the Lady Cats.
Tullahoma took an early lead in the first inning when Madison Goad singled, scoring the first run of the game. Kaitlynn Gattis extended the lead with a single in the third, making it 2-0.

The Lady Cats broke open the game in the fifth inning, scoring six runs on a single hit. Goad scored after tagging up, AC Holloway drew a walk for an additional run, and Dalayna Marshall induced Kylee Holt into a fielder’s choice, but a run still scored. An error allowed two more runs to cross the plate, and Goad walked to score another.
Tullahoma continued their dominance with another six runs on six hits in the sixth inning. Holloway doubled, scoring one, Holt hit an inside-the-park home run for three runs, and Goad homered to left field for two more.
Delayna Marshall started in the circle for Franklin County, pitching four and two-thirds innings, allowing seven hits and nine runs (six earned), striking out three, and walking four. Amaya Sharp threw a shutout for Tullahoma, surrendering just two hits, striking out five, and walking two.
Kaylee Morris and Ava Yates each collected one hit for Franklin County.
Tullahoma’s offense was led by Goad and Addye Norman, who each had three hits. Holt drove in five runs, going 2-for-5. Gattis and Aleigha Raby also contributed multiple hits. The Wildcats showed patience at the plate, drawing six walks, with Goad and Norman stealing multiple bases. Tullahoma also dominated on the basepaths with four stolen bases and played flawless defense, committing no errors, with Goad handling the most chances (six).
Looking ahead, Franklin County will participate in the Brentwood Invitational this weekend. The Rebelettes are set to play Grace Christian Academy Lady Lions at 5:30 PM on Friday, Lipscomb Academy Lady Mustangs at 7 PM, and Fairview Yellow Jackets at 11 AM on Saturday.
