Franklin County EMA & Rescue Recovers Submerged Truck from Tims Ford Lake

WINCHESTER, Tenn. — Franklin County Emergency Management and Rescue crews recovered a red Ford truck from Tim’s Ford Lake late Saturday night after responding to reports that a vehicle had entered the water.

According to officials, the call came in on the evening of October 4, and rescue personnel quickly arrived on scene. Divers located a fully submerged truck near the shoreline, secured it, and assisted Hasty Wrecker Service in recovering the vehicle from the lake. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

Franklin County EMA & Rescue expressed appreciation for the teamwork involved, thanking Hasty Wrecker Service and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance during the recovery.

In a statement shared on social media, the department reminded residents to use caution around local waterways.

“As always, we remind everyone to use caution around water, especially near boat ramps and lakeside roads,” officials said.
