Dolores Ruth Lovejoy passed from this life on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Manchester Center in Manchester, Tennessee at the age of 92 years.

The family has chosen cremation. No services planned.

Dolores was born on June 5, 1932, in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late George W. and Esther Lillian Sandberg Morris. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Anna May Morris Nail.

Dolores was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and worked for many years in the Seventh Day Adventist Schools. She also worked for the Southern Adventist University and Walla Walla University and truly enjoyed working with the students there. Dolores loved crafts and enjoyed teaching crafts in her community. Dolores was very spiritually centered and loved working for and within her church.

Her survivors include her husband of 72 years, Delmar Lovejoy of Manchester, Tennessee, sons, Morris L. Lovejoy of Manchester, Tennessee, Del Marc Lovejoy of Denver, Colorado, daughter, Faith Ann Gilson of Springfield, Oregon, five grandchildren, Morris Lovejoy II of Tennessee, Christy Lovejoy of Colorado, Brandon Lovejoy of Illinois, Mitchell Chinn of Washington State, and Cedric Chinn of Virginia, and 2 great grandchildren, Teagan and Carter Chinn both of Washington State.
