Decherd Fires City Administrator Rob Bennett

The Decherd Board of Mayor and Aldermen has voted to dismiss City Administrator Rob Bennett, citing concerns over professionalism and job performance. Bennett had served in the role for five years. Mayor Michael Gillespie thanked staff for maintaining day-to-day operations and said an interim administrator will be named soon, with assistance from the Tennessee Municipal League in the search for a permanent replacement.
