David Howard Brewer

David Howard Brewer, age 82, of Winchester, TN, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at his residence after an extended illness. He was born in Franklin County, TN, on January 15, 1943, to the late Lewis and Sally (Morris) Brewer. He attended Decherd Mission Church until his sickness would not allow him to. He worked for Capital Product and Rock Tenn for 25 years before he retired. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Alma Owens, Jean Campbell, Nellie Hubbard, Edna Klamp, Ann Evans, Jerry Brewer, and Thomas Brewer. He is survived by his children, Karen Shetters (Pat) Magouirk, James (Regina) Brewer, both of Winchester, and Gary Brewer of Estill Springs, TN; mother of his children, Shirley Brewer Curtis of Estill Springs; sister, Margaret Brewer (Winn) Green of Tullahoma, Tennessee; brother, Floyd (Syliva) Brewer of Wartrace; seven grandchildren, Bradley, Trent, Brandy Brewer, Jeremy Shetters, Makenzee (Brewer) Cope, Derek, Logan Brewer; 12 great grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Watson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson Funeral Home. Internment to immediately follow in Owens Chapel Cemetery. Special Thanks to Gentiva Hospice and nurses Tammy Erazo and Rachel Frame.
