Dana Lee Eggleston

June 25, 1973 - July 8, 2025

Dana Lee Eggleston of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 52 years.

A native of Tullahoma, Tennessee, he is the son of Larry and Glenda Gail Parks Eggleston of Tullahoma, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church located at 1901 Ovoca Road in Tullahoma, Tennessee with Pastor Ken Mack Hindman officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. A private, family burial will take place immediately after the service at Bethany Cemetery in Normandy, Tennessee.

Dana was a Tullahoma High School graduate and has been employed at Tullahoma Utilities Authority for the past 31 years where he is the Metering Supervisor. Twenty-eight years ago, he married the love of his life and his high school sweetheart, Christina Pursley Eggleston. He poured his whole heart into his 2 biggest blessings, his daughters Trista Dana (22) and Kenda Hope (16). Dana was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Tullahoma; he wholeheartedly loved the Lord and his church family. He enjoyed fishing, family gatherings, and watching high school and college basketball. He never missed a chance to watch his daughters cheer on the Tullahoma Wildcats. Dana was a dedicated worker and loved home construction where he could work with his hands. He was compassionate and kindhearted, always willing to help others. He loved his family above all else and loved time with his nieces and nephews. Dana is gone too soon and will be forever missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Christina Eggleston of Tullahoma, Tennessee, daughters, Trista Eggleston of Cookeville and Kenda Eggleston of Tullahoma, parents, Larry and Glenda Gail Eggleston of Tullahoma, sister, Deanna Eggleston of Tullahoma, Father-in-law, Jimmy Pursley of Coffee County, sister-in-law, Nicole Pursley McBee of Franklin County, nieces and nephews, Brooke Eggleston, Lucas Eggleston, Darin Eggleston, Jayden Eggleston, Blake Pursley, Bailey Baker and great nieces, Hayvah Eggleston and Mercy Eggleston.

Dana was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hubert and Jessie Ruth Eggleston and maternal grandparents, Russell and Winnie May Parks. He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Verna Dale Campbell.
