Gracen Baggett Eyes 1,000 Points as Rebelettes Battle Giles County

The Franklin County Rebelettes have been one of the area’s hottest teams over the last two weeks — and now they’re headed into a district matchup with a little extra history on the line.

Entering Tuesday night’s (Jan. 20, 2026) trip to Giles County, junior Gracen Baggett is seven points away from reaching 1,000 career points, just days after senior Na’Kayjah Holman crossed the milestone in Franklin County’s 69–41 win over Lawrence County on Friday (Jan. 16).

Holman delivered 20 points in that win to crack the scoring mark, while Baggett added 17 as the Rebelettes picked up their eighth win in their last 10 games. The duo has been the engine of Franklin County’s offense all season, leading the team in scoring with Baggett averaging 14.1 points per game and Holman at 13.3. Baggett has 268 points this year, while Holman has 252.

But Franklin County’s recent surge hasn’t been a two-player show.

Over the last 10-game stretch, Kenzie Arnold (Jr.) and Aahna Carter have provided key scoring support that’s changed the team’s dynamic, giving defenses more to account for and helping balance the floor. Carter and Arnold have also done important work on the glass, teaming with Holman and Baggett to bolster the Rebelettes’ rebounding presence during this run.

Now, the spotlight turns to Tuesday’s district test against the Giles County Lady Bobcats (8–5) — with Baggett within striking distance of joining Holman in the 1,000-point club in the same week.

Fans can follow all the action on ESPN Radio Winchester, with coverage beginning at 5:45 p.m. for the girls game, followed by the boys.
